Its a Rooster Party!

I only have two roosters....sad, but true. After all this Rooster exposure...I think I'll be looking for more Roosters to add to my small collection.

This Rooster Pot was a gift from my friend Marsha. I'm thinking she thought my other Rooster was lonely, so she offered this wonderful cooking pot to keep him company.

It's pretty cool.

I fell for this large Rooster five years ago and couldn't go without having him for my kitchen. He was at an antique store in Modesto and even though he's not an antique....I just had to have him. He's pretty special and usually sits on top my kitchen cupboards overlooking the entire kitchen. He came down for the party.

I have a couple of hens around the house, but since there hens...they didn't want to spoil the party!
I want to thank Barb @ Bella Vista for hosting this grand party. I hear there are over 200 participants. I'm really enjoying all of these Roosters.
Please hop on over to her blog for more fun.
Happy Friday!
Mumzie

Your large rooster is so regal and just gorgeous. I can see why you had to have him. Stunning. I also love the wonderful pot and inside the basket with the open side it is just about the cutest ever. Love them both. Hugs, Marty

I agree with Linda!! Two are enough when they are as cute as the ones you have. I'd snap them up in a minute if I saw them in a store!! And if you read my post, you will find that I am now notorious for not really loving roosters!!

Love your blog!! Are you having fun meeting new people at the party!!! :-)

Yvonne, that ceramic rooster is spectacular!!! I love his tail feathers- he is definitely king of the roost! Your new header is so attractive. You've been busy... How's the weather there? We still have to go back to CA to get our son's things out of storage and get them sent back to OH. Want to wait for a little cooler weather, if possible.

Hi Mumzie!
First let me say that your header picture is lovely. It doesn't matter how many roosters you have as long as you joined the party girl! :) I agree with everyone that said they liked the pot inside the basket. How pretty was that? Thanks for taking the time to visit my little blog. Have a nice weekend. xxoo
