Favorite Things - New Lavender Tea Pot
Favorite Things
Each item in a collection has its own story, its own memory----the search, the day you bought it, who you were with, the vacation...

A week or so ago, Jen & I went out to "Lavender Hollow Farm", a locally owned lavender farm. I found this "Lavender" Tea Pot and could not resist.
So, it's now part of my collection.
I just love it!
Bill & Alice Taylor are the proprietors of "Lavender Hollow Farm" and are such delightful people. I met Alice several years ago at the Farmer's Market in downtown Modesto. She is always so sweet and helpful. She takes the time to talk with you and explain everything about her farm and her lavender products. Even though she was very busy preparing for classes on making lavender heart wreaths later that day, she took the time to go over the entire process with us. Her wreaths are beautiful and I plan on returning to purchase enough lavender to make a couple for myself.

Tea Time Tuesday - Tea with Miss Jean & Maggie
Please be sure to visit her blog for a list of participants and their wonderful tea displays.
http://gritsglamour.blogspot.com/
We both have Scotties and live in the same small town and met through blogging.
Last Thursday, Jean & Maggie came over for tea.
Since I don't own a fancy "Tea Set", I used my very functional Chantal tea pot which I bought at the Celestial Seasonings Tea Shop in Boulder, Colorado last fall. It makes a great pot tea. It was all mix and match...but worked.
Maggie sitting so pretty.
Earlier this year Jean and I took a class on "Discovering the World of Teas."
I think they liked the chicken salad tea sandwiches.
We enjoyed having Miss Jean and Maggie over for tea.

I think Maggie is saying..."Mom that Connor is such big handsome Scottie."
He dosen't need any treats. Give it to me!

Earlier this year Jean and I took a class on "Discovering the World of Teas."
It was so much fun. We learned about teas and tea pots from all over the world.
Buddy can do it too, only he looks like a Merecat.
I think Jean & Maggie are a match made in heaven.
We all had a wonderful time....look I think Maggie is smiling.

I know everyone at Mumzie's house had a great time...
Buddy & Connor slept very good that night!
God Bless my new friends.

My Dream Tea Set
Stafford Flowers Tea Set by SpodeThis tea set is so elequent and rich looking...I just love it. It's been part of the Spode heritage since the early 1800’s, these superb botanical illustrations in classic style provide a different floral study as the central motif for every piece.
One day! Hubs if you are reading this...take note.
