Labor Day Weekend 2011 - Color the Skies - Ripon, California

Sunday morning 9/4/11


Color The Skies, Inc established in 2006, was created with the goal of bringing awareness and financial support to Children’s Hospital Central California. Children's insures that all children in Central California receive the best pediatric care possible regardless of their ability to pay. Children’s Hospital Central California is a not-for-profit, state of the art regional medical center located
in Madera just north of Fresno.

The baskets are gorgeous.


The most exciting part of the morning was when they fired
up their tanks.
 There were approximately 25 or so balloons...
some when up and then down again.
I think I'll go again next year.

Oh that event must have been such funand for a good cause as well, the hot air balloons are so colourful.

Superb colours and hues. I'm afraid of heights and also fascinated by them. Good photography.
