Some of my roses (the few that I have) are all filled with mildew. But my Julia Child rose sitting right next to a mildewy one is just beautiful. Really goes to show which ones are hardy. If I had room for a rose hedge they would all be Julia Child. Beautiful, strong, resistant yellow.

We need to get together soon and catch up!!! Have a great Memorial Day weekend.

Dear Mumzie nice to meet you. I too am from N CA. We moved in 01 when my husband retired. We are loving it in Alaska. I really love the music on your blog. I used to have such beautiful roses in CA but alas not here as only the native ones will work.
Take Care
